The still unspoilt Village of Azoia in the foothills of the historic Sintra hills and offers exiting opportunities for hiking, exploring Castles, Palaces and Churches. Surfers Beaches, numerous Golf Courses, Estoril, Cascais and Sintra are within easy reach and Lisbon, with its International Airport, is only 25 miles away.
Beach The nearest Beach is 5 - 15 mins walk (depending which house) but one needs to be fit to manage the steep climb down. Other beaches are from about 10 mins drive away, including 'Guincho Beach' well known for it's annual Windsurfing Championships.
Golf The village is well situated for golfers. The nearest course is Penha Longa, Estoril and Quinta de Marinha are about 20 mins away.
