Casa Sarracena, facing south and west high up overlooking the Atlantic and within sight of the lighthouse on Cabo da Roca, the most westerly point on mainland Europe, is a restored and traditional Portuguese cottage located in the quiet, unspoilt village of Azoia in the foothills of the wooded Serra de Sintra. It offers a rare chance to sample Portuguese village life, well off the normal tourist track but with exciting opportunities for walking, exploring palaces, churches and castles very close to the beautiful surfing beaches along the coast. Lisbon can be reached easily by train from nearby Cascais or by motorway.

Notes on accommodation
Maximum of 4 people over 5 years including at least one adult over 18 years. Younger children by agreement only. Electric fans and sun shades are provided, as is heating for the cooler months - November to March.
In the fitted kitchen, cooking is by both calor gas and electricity. Hot water is by gas geyser. Maid services are included in the rent. In addition the maid may be prepared to work for you mornings or afternoons on weekdays and may even agree to cook for you. Her wages, which you must pay directly to her before departure, are £3.00 per hour. The telephone accepts incoming calls only (+350 21929 2897). Pets are allowed.
